Merry Christmas And A New Approach On This Blog In 2017

I know I haven’t been writing on this blog as much as I should have or would have wanted.

Most of the time, I take this hobby of mine too seriously. The amount of drafts I have in my trash is mind-boggling. And honestly, it does take 2-3 hours or even more to churn out articles such as this and this.

And then, even more time is needed to search and add in an apt picture like the one below.

When this is pretty much a non-revenue generating hobby, it is indeed hard to find motivation at 9pm on most days to turn on the laptop and start tapping away.

Don’t get me wrong. I ABSOLUTELY love blogging on this platform. Starting the blog in 2013 has to count among the best things I did that year.

But it simply just takes too much effort to come up with a typical article that I write. So I will be pivoting.

To shorter, simpler and more to-the-point posts like this one.

It will be more like a blog instead of a site. And I will definitely be revealing more of myself, my experiences and my views. It’s probably 70% at this point, but I would try to go as close to 100% in the next few months.

Just to prove the point above, I will freely admit that this is one of my favourite X’mas tunes. If I were a teenage girl, I would absolutely have a big crush on this 17-year-old Bieber. 

The topics I will be writing on would be much broader but I am pretty sure they would still at the very least be related to either money or the lifestyle of a semi-retired. (The latter likely gives me the license to write on anything except religion.)

Even if you find it less useful, I hope to make it up by making it at least interesting or even humorous. And definitely more prolific, although I will not spam you by limiting myself to at most two posts a day. Yes, a LIMIT. 

So before I end off, here’s wishing a Merry X’mas to you and your loved ones. Hope you enjoyed the cheesy tune above as much as I do. 

P.S. A huge improvement on the time and effort part since t took just slightly more than 45 minutes to churn out this post. And I thoroughly enjoyed the process.
